Rose has been suffering in silence from endometriosis and chronic illness for years. But it's beginning to wear her down. An unexpected act of kindness from a stranger shows her the power of human connection during hardship.
This film is dedicated to all women suffering from endometriosis, PCOS & other menstrual disorders, which are too commonly dismissed as "just period pain."
Any woman with endometriosis knows it's not "just period pain."
... And why is it so common for "period pain" to be associated with the word "just"?

Endometriosis is a chronic, and often debilitating reproductive disease that occurs when tissue called endometrium begins to grow outside of the uterus.
Yet on average, it takes 7-10 years before proper diagnosis due to lack of recognition, serious investigation, and understanding that severe period pain is not normal. It currently has no cure and no fixed treatment pathway but can be managed with specialist help.
Frank and Sita created this film based on Sita's experience with severe menstrual disorders to spread awareness for the disease, and attempt to express a degree of the impact it can have on women's lives - who, like Sita, often end up enduring in silence.
